11th April, Filming Scene 3.

11th April, Filming Scene 3.
This high angle shot used in the living room setting will be able to show the audeince the setting and what is happeing clearly. The lighting in here is very clear and we are extremley pleased with these shots as a whole.

This is the conservatory setting where it again, sets the scene of teenagers partying. the high angle shot here is successful in doing so.

Dark lighting outside while we filmed the Hot Tub Scene. Hopefully this can be improved during editing and the fill light can be increased to allow more light into the shot. We discussed this as a group and said that the darkness also fits in with the mysterious style and gives the impression of teenagers at a party doing drugs and drinking alcohol.
Yesterday we filmed the party scene for our thriller. Overall we felt that it was successfull, however our main issue was the lighting outside by the hot tub as it was very dark, yet hopefully we can increase the fill light of the shots to improve this. Here are a few shots taken from a selection that we filmed. The first shot shows a high angle shots of the party scene which we could use as our establishing shot  to set the scene- plus the high angle shot of the conservatory also shows people partying and having a good time. The soundbridge from the copyright free music in the bedroom will be used for these establishing party shots, as well as the shots outside, yet quieter to fulfill the party atmosphere that we have tried to re-create. The section where Rose is talking to Doug in the living room went well as people were still partying in the background to make it look realistic, also the midshot allows the audience to see their expressions clearly. We are all very pleased with the tracking shot of Maddie walking through the party to find Rose as we used the shot from 'Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' to inspire this.
